I don’t know about you, but I love coffee. So naturally, when we travel, we keep our eyes open for really good coffee shops. Once we find one, we put a ring on it, and stay committed. Then, we tell everyone how much in love we are. So today…

I want to introduce you to my favorite coffee shops in one of my favorite cities: am/pm organic cafe in Pokhara, Nepal.

am/pm Organic Cafe in Pokhara, Nepal

We found am/pm like we find most other good restaurants and cafes, by roaming around aimlessly at dinner time, and boy am I glad we did. There coffee and baristas are some of the best I’ve found so far in Nepal (Himalayan Java in Thamel, Kathmandu is also amazing). The beans are organically farmed by Nepali, the staff is kind, and the environment is chill. Most of all, the coffee is good!

Our favorite cup from am/pm is a cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso. My buddy Nick from the USA (a barista) opted for black coffee every morning. Nick knows coffee. He smelled the cup. Talked about NOTES (whatever those are) and smiled a lot. Quite a few times we shared a french press. All were awesome. Nick also tried the Kombucha and the iced drinks. All were approved by him, so I guess they now have the Nick International Stamp of approval.

Now, because (at the time of writing this article) the power can be off for up to ten hours per day in Pokhara, take a seat and give them time. To make the espresso machine work properly, they usually have to turn on the generator and let the steam build up. That’s normal here. Life has a different pace. Grab a book, relax, and get ready for yummy goodness.
